Pretorius went head to head against Gerrie Gerhards from Cape Town in a featherweight MMA bout. Early in the first round Pretorius took two blows to the groin which affected his concentration.
He, unfortunately, lost the fight due to a neck choke at the end of round 1.
In the co-main event of the evening Harris faced JP Mellim, the defending CFL LHW champion from Brackenfell, Cape Town. Harris quickly had the fight on the ground after a massive straight rear cross punch which knocked his opponent down.
From thereon he worked for a dominant position and finished of the fight under one minute with a well-executed key lock (Americana) submission, declaring him the winner and new CFL Light Heavyweight MMA Champion.
