CHESS NEWS - Eden chess was well represented at the 2025 South African Junior Chess Championships held at Hottentots-Holland High School in Somerset West.
Forty two Eden players participated in the tournament from 31 March to 5 April.
Over four and a half intense days, the Eden players tackled nine gruelling rounds with a time control of 90:90 plus 30-second increments per move.
Every one of the players showed incredible spirit, determination and pride.
Many parents and guardians supported their children throughout the week - their encouragement and presence made a huge difference.
