NATIONAL NEWS - Farmers across the country have taken their pleas for increased policing in rural areas to the streets.
A convoy of vehicles will make its way to the city centre on Monday morning as part of a protest against farm killings.
The demonstration comes after the murder of Klapmuts farmer Joubert Conradie earlier this month, the fourth attack on a Western Cape farm this month.
A heartbroken family member of the slain farmer says that the country must unite behind farming communities.
Marlene Conradie, who’s joined the protest, paid tribute to her husband.
“I ask that we stand together today, so that no family will have to endure this type of pain again.”
