GEORGE NEWS - Repairwork is still in progress on the burst water pipe affecting the CBD.
Estimated time of completion Saturday (25 July) early morning.
Following a burst watermain supply pipe yesterday there are several areas in the CBD, George Central, George South towards the Airport, Pacaltsdorp, Pacaltsdorp Industria and Herold’s Bay that either have no water or very low water pressure.
Consumers are asked to please use water sparingly.
The burst occurred on Friday in Camphersdrift, Sandy McGregor Road on a 1000mm pipe.
George Municipality apologizes for the inconvenience.
