GEORGE NEWS - The principal of Thembalethu Primary School, Bathini Tyesi, may have to accommodate a bigger number of new learners than expected, as more parents keep knocking on their door.
Tyesi said there currently are 90 Grade R learners and 240 Grade 1s.
"The expected increase is attributed to the quality of education and the discipline that this school offers. We currently have 38 learners per class. This number will increase as we can't turn people away. If need be, we will have to request more classes," said Tyesi.
