GEORGE NEWS - The Total Shutdown women’s march will take place countrywide on 1 August.
The George branch invites women who want to join the march in support of the cause to attend their meetings to share their stories.
The march will start at the corner of Market and Cradock streets at 10:00. The organisers ask that women show their support before 1 August already, by wearing black with a touch of red every Wednesday.
They explain that the red represents the blood that has already been spilled.
