Residents urged to keep saving water
Despite the healthy dam levels, water remains a precious resource and residents are encouraged to continue using it responsibly.
With no rainfall recorded over the past week and daily consumption in George above the municipal target, keeping demand under control will help protect the municipality’s water security.
Residents are encouraged to fix leaking taps and pipes, avoid unnecessary water wastage and use water wisely.
