GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality advises residents of Thembalethu (Ward 13) that a planned water interruption is scheduled for Wednesday, 26 November, from 08:00 to 17:00.
The interruption is necessary to allow municipal teams to carry out alterations on the water mains.
Areas Affected:
Tshefu, Ntaka, Schaap, Ntutuko, Msenge, Mangaliso, Tyatyambo, Nyathi, Xomoyi, Paradesi, Bhadi, Pikoko, Balfour and Ngcakani Streets (between Tshefu and Schaap).
Residents are cautioned to treat the installation as live for the entire duration, as water supply may be restored at any time within the notified period.
Low water pressure may also be experienced.
A water truck will be made available to support affected households during the outage.
If unforeseen circumstances prevent the work from being completed on the scheduled day, the interruption will be moved to the alternative date of Tuesday, 2 December, from 08:00 to 17:00.
