GEORGE NEWS - A nineteen-year-old dancer who matriculated at York High School last year is the director of a dance production that features items performed by current York High dance students, three other dance schools and guest performances by local musicians and singers.
Shaela Heystek's production It's Classic will be showcased at the George Arts Theatre on Friday 20 September (19:00) and Saturday 21 September (15:00 and 19:00).
"Dance and entertainment can reach and speak to all audiences," said Heystek. "This is what I want to achieve with this production.
"Through the ages we find music, people, movement and soul that lives on today.
"The show is a throwback of events and memories that flow in this orchestration of our proud and exciting production."
