GEORGE SWIMMING NEWS - Veneske Steenkamp (12), a member of the Royal Swimming Academy's senior squad, won six gold medals at the Limpopo Swimming Championships in Polokwane last weekend.
Veneske won gold in all the swimming items in which she participated - 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 200m freestyle, 100m backstyle, 200m backstyle and 50m flystyle.
Her swimmng coach is Mimette Salter.
