GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - With the June exams in full force both at primary and high schools, sport enthusiasts use their time wisely with a well deserved break between study sesisons.
The Mini League Squash Tournament brought excitement to Mossel Bay last Saturday, with 16 young players from schools in George, Great Brak River, Mossel Bay, Riversdale and Still Bay competing.
The players were seeded and split into four teams of four, battling it out in a lively team format.
The matches were fiercely contested, with plenty of fun for all involved.
Zivan’s Team clinched the victory, while Jayden’s Team secured a strong second place.
Mini league contestants from Laerskool Vorentoe (Great Brak River), Gracehill Christian School (George), Melkhoutfontein Primêr (Still Bay), Laerskool Outeniqua (George), Curro Mossel Bay, Hoërskool Langenhoven (Riversdale) and York High (George).
