GEORGE NEWS - Youngsters who frequent the Ground Zero Bike Park can rejoice in the news that Council approved the lease of the building premises to the company MTB Management (Pty) Ltd (trading as Ground Zero Bike Park) for a period of six years and eleven months.
The lease agreement will be finalised if no comments or representations from the public are received.
Owner Riaan Barnard said on Tuesday although he has yet to receive official confirmation, he was contacted by several individuals who shared the news. "We are obviously very happy to receive such positive news, and want to thank the public for their continuous support."
Since the bike park opened in October 2018 it has been a welcome entertainment venue for parents and their offspring alike.
