GEORGE NEWS - Karate-Zen George has done it again.
A team of 20 dedicated students from this dojo took on the country’s best at the Karate-Zen National Championship in Cape Town this weekend, and returned with an impressive haul of medals.
Of the 20 students who competed, 16 made it to the podium, earning a remarkable 30 medals across both the kumite and kata divisions - a testament to the dojo’s commitment to excellence.
The team’s sincerest appreciation also goes to their chief instructor, Sensei Mareon Ferndale, for his continued discipline and guidance in leading them to this level of excellence.
They also thanked the event organisers for making this national tournament a memorable and inspiring experience.
