Their win against Smitties Number Plates saw them leap 14 positions and grab fifth place on the log. They were closely followed by Liberty, who retrieved all the positions they had dropped in round two and moved themselves 12 places up the ladder with a convincing win over the team from Mazars.
Both the Vodacom and the Finwise teams made major moves to climb 10 positions each establishing themselves as teams to watch.
The teams that found the tide moving strongly against them in the third round were Smitties Number Plates who dropped 14 positions followed closely by A & J Konstruksie (13).
However, nothing is irreparable and there are still several rounds for the teams to strive for improvement in their results.
The Sothebys team took a great stride forward by beating Liberty 19-4 in the third round of the George Action Bowls League.
