GEORGE KARATE NEWS - Ryukyu Kobudo George recently conducted its regional white belt Kyu gradings at the Honbu dojo in George.
A total of 22 kobudo-ka from George, Oudtshoorn and Sedgefield were subjected to the first grading of their proficiency in performing three different weapons katas in order to receive an 8th Kyu orange belt.
This concluded the series of Kyu gradings conducted before the South African Ryukyu Kobudo Tournament, sanctioned by Martial Arts South Africa (Masa), which will be hosted in George on 3 August.
