GEORGE SQUASH NEWS - Two local squash coaches, Mikhail Schabort and Jarryd Carter, ran a coaching clinic for young squash players early in January this year.
Primary and high school learners from George, Oudtshoorn, Great Brak River and Mossel Bay attended. New players were introduced to the game while experienced players were prepared for the upcoming provincial trials.
The coaches concentrated on technique, skills, and fitness.
Carter and Schabort are the top two squash players in South Western Districts (Eden) and both were nationally ranked juniors during their school careers.
