GEORGE GOLF NEWS - Nicola Gerhardsen (second from left) from the KeNako Academy won the 2019 Kingswood Club Golf Championship.

Nicola had two great rounds, shooting two under par 142 (71, 71) to win the tournament by nine shots. 

Players experienced tough, windy conditions during their second round on the course on Sunday and Nicola was the only golfer to break par. 

Former KeNako Academy golf student and 2018 club champs winner, Aidan Boon (right), presented Nicola with his winning green jacket at the prize-giving ceremony. With them are Kingswood golf professional Clifford Howes and KeNako general manager, Liesel Niehaus.

Chloé Malgas-Kelpin won the Kingswood club championship's Ladies Division last Sunday. Chloé enjoyed a great tournament to shoot level par 72 in the first round, followed by 2 over par 74 in extremely tough, windy conditions in the second round of the championship.
