GEORGE NEWS - Keep your diaries for 24 June open and your golf clubs at the ready - this is the date of the George Business Chamber's annual golf day.
The big event will take place at the Fancourt Montagu golf course, starting at 11:00.
After the full day of golf, the evening will kick off with a prestigious prize-giving event. This year the special guest speaker will be former Springbok rugby captain Corné Krige.
It will also include a delicious carvery dinner. According to the organisers the winners will be awarded a floating trophy inscribed with their names.
Bernadette Schaap, manager of the George Business Chamber, on Tuesday said it will be a wonderful networking opportunity for companies and their potential clients and suppliers.
The format is a four-ball alliance. The cost is R1 500 per player. For non golfers, the cost of the prize-giving dinner is R500 per person.
