FOOTBALL NEWS - Last season's George Local Football Association League (Geolfa) champions, Raul Stars, are having a hard time in the elite Regional League.
The youthful side from Thembalethu are currently sitting right at the bottom of the Safa Eden Regional League log table after losing both their games last weekend.
In their first game, on Saturday morning, 4 November, at the Lawaaikamp Stadium, they were beaten 3-1 by Knysna Celtics.
Their second game took place at Rosemoor Stadium on Saturday afternoon against FC United from Knysna, who defeated them 4-0.
After 10 games played, Raul Stars have achieved one draw and lost nine games and are sitting in the relegation zone. Last weekend's games concluded the Safa Eden Regional League games for this year.
The league will resume in January next year.
