The two goals of the visiting team, Knysna Celtics, were netted by Chulumanco Nkohla and Madlotywa Sinawo, while Nkosiyethu Seyibokwe scored for Raul Stars.
After starting slow start at the bottom of the log this season, Knysna Celtics are stepping up their game in the second round of the league in an attempt to avoid relegation.
With seven games remaining they are on track to reach the top eight positions, while Raul Stars are still struggling in the relegation zone.
Raul Stars started the game and built up the pressure with some beautiful touches by Thulani Zakade and Lethu Scritsh, who controlled the game from the centre of the field - until Chulumanco Nkohla of Knysna Celtics scored the opening goal with excellent work from the left side of the field.
The equalising goal came from a free kick where Raul Stars delivered the ball inside the box and Nkosiyethu Seyibokwe put it neatly inside the goal.
The first half ended 1-1, which gave both sides good reason to up their game in the second half to score a winning goal. Raul Stars were looking more dangerous on the wings, but it was Celtics that scored when Sinawo Madlotywa succeeded with a long-range kick from outside the box.
Raul Stars tried to come back into the game, but Celtics dominated the last minutes. Celtics did not manage a third goal however, and the game ended 2-1, Knysna Celtics going home with maximum points.
Knysna Celtics head coach Thembinkosi "Khuse" Dassie said that it's always a good feeling to win away from home.
He believes his team are on the right track, but they will keep fighting for a better position on the log and he has confidence in the talented young players that they will make it to the top eight positions.
