GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Knysna Cavaliers (122 all out) remain unbeaten in the Six Gun Grill SWD Premier League competition after they defeated Union Stars (104 all out) by 18 runs at the Bridgton Sport Grounds on Saturday.
Both Harlequins (defeated Sussex by 4 wickets) and George (defeated Ramblers by 21 runs) remain in the 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
Plett Pioneers, thanks to a half century by Garth Bock (77), posted 243 and thereafter dismissed Mossel Bay for 157 for an 86-run bonus point victory. Mbuyiseli Malanga bagged 6/25. The door for a place in the play-off matches therefore remain open for the men from Plettenberg Bay.
