GEORGE NEWS - Gorillas Vlakkie Cricket Club hosted its annual Easter Tens Tournament at The Jungle venue in Harmony Park, Pacaltsdorp last weekend.
The event drew hundreds of spectators and supporters.
According to one of the organisers, Gershwin Kock, the tournament was available through live-streaming coverage which reached audiences as far as the Philippines.
Teams from various regions showcased their cricketing prowess, featuring prominent contenders such as the Pacaltsdorp Rebels, Rosedale Tigers, Andersonville Eagles, New Dawn Whales, Lakers, Europe 6'ers, Europe Warthogs, and Europe Varke.
The tournament reached its peak with a showdown between perennial favourites, the Gorillas, and the formidable Pacaltsdorp Rebels.

"Both teams fiercely fought for victory. In the end the Gorillas clinched the win with a decisive 24-run victory over the Rebels," said Kock.
The Gorillas' management team thanks all the participating teams for their support of the event, as well as their sponsors and supporters who were pivotal in making this event a big success once again.
