Trial date set for alleged killers of Addo farmer

NATIONAL NEWS - The three men arrested for the brutal murder of 62 year-old Addo farmer Allan Carke last April will go on trial in the Grahamstown High Court next month.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Gerda Swart says the three men in their 20's and early 30's made a brief appearance in court on Tuesday where they were told that the matter will be heard from the 15th to the 26th of February.

The accused remain in custody in prison in Grahamstown.

Clarke's body was found near the Seaview off-ramp on the N2 on the 20th of April 2015.
