GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - A large seal appears to be stranded at Victoria Bay, near George.
As one enters Victoria Bay beach, the seal is on the left hand side, "stuck" on rocks. Minutes before the seal seemed to be stranding on the sand and then returned to the surf, but now it is caught on the rocks.
This was at 14:41 on Sunday, 31 January.
The Mossel Bay Advertiser contacted the Stranded Marine Animal Rescue Team (S.M.A.R.T.) and a member of the team said she knew about the stranding and was on her way to the seal.
