GEORGE NEWS - George police and traffic officers are waiting patiently for the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) supporters to arrive at the George Taxi Rank.
According to information, a group of about 30 people are waiting for taxis in Thembalethu to start the march.
The EFF supporters will march to the George Hospital in support of the party's national public healthcare campaign.
In February the EFF declared 2018 the year of public healthcare, undertaking to raise awareness of the poor condition of the state's health facilities.
Route
From Mitchell Street the march will proceed via Hibernia Street, cross York Street into CJ Langenhoven Street and go around the circle at the George Hospital, from where it will move to the parking area in front of the hospital via Davidson Road.
The march will then continue along Davidson Road to the York Street circle, and down York Street to the parking area in front of the Civil Engineering Department (old Town Hall) to hand over another memorandum.

James Robb, GO GEORGE manager, is at the taxi rank to make sure everything is running smoothly. "We have full faith in our colleagues at Saps and traffic, we dont expect any trouble," he said. With him is Ilse da Silva, Shunay Lucas, Chantelle Manchest and Chrisdelle Tarentaal.
