GEORGE NEWS - Families turned out in large numbers at Garden Route Mall on Saturday 27 June for a special meet-and-greet with Peppa Pig.

Held in the Dis-Chem court, the event was filled with laughter, excitement and plenty of smiles as the children had the opportunity to meet this popular character in person. 

The response exceeded expectations, as about 1 300 children attended. Due to the overwhelming turnout, the event ran nearly 50 minutes longer than scheduled to ensure as many young fans as possible had the chance to meet Peppa Pig and pose for photographs.

Garden Route Mall thanked everyone who attended and helped make the day a memorable occasion. Visitors are encouraged to keep an eye out for more family-friendly events and experiences planned at the mall.
