GEORGE NEWS - A total of 120 lady golfers, mostly from the Garden Route, had a blast of a day at the annual Oubaai Ladies Open Day which was held in aid of the Wild Mongoo non-profit organisation on 3 March.
It was a truly pink and fun occasion themed 'Bubbles and blush'.
Mariana Melville, the lady's golf captain of Oubaai, handed over R12 000 that was raised to Annalie Cable from Wild Mongoo.
The golf day started out with a festive breakfast and emporium where businesses could showcase their products and Wild Mongoo had an opportunity to tell the ladies about the amazing work they do to empower and support women in need.
The golfers enjoyed to play the beautiful Oubaai golf course. Sponsors were on the golf course to make sure players were well looked after.
A delicious three-course meal was served during the prizegiving at the hotel deck with Lynette, the violinist for entertainment.
A special thank you went to all the generous sponsors for their contributions to make this day successful.
