Linda Anderson, of Landy World George, together with Janette Pretorius, of Altech Netstar, Mario Ferreria, of Chas Everitt Sedgefield and PW Pretorius, organised a 4x4 event at Jacques Muskat's Paradise 4x4 that he made available free of charge.
About 40 four-wheel-drive vehicles from Mossel Bay, George, Uniondale and as far as Victoria West flocked to Paradise 4x4 for the day. The Denron quarry was also made available for an extra place to play.
An enjoyable day was had by all and the day was concluded with an auction and braai.
A delighted Babie Lewitton, of the Cancer Association, said this was the most money ever raised in a local one-day fundraiser for the organisation.
