GEORGE NEWS – The annual Cuppa for Cansa is currently underway at Eden Church, where hundreds of women, cancer survivors, fighters, and their supporters have gathered for a morning of inspiration and celebration. This year’s event, themed “High Tea in Paris”, promises a day filled with elegance, laughter, and compassion.
Organised by the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa), this marks the first Cuppa for Cansa event since the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to organiser Rita Marx, the morning promises to be a “prestigious affair, brimming with inspiration, music, song and dance, delicious refreshments, and the precious company of wonderful women and friends.”
To make the morning even more special, Cansa invited women to participate as hostesses, each hosting a table of eight to ten guests.
The event not only celebrates strength and survivorship but also serves as an important fundraiser, enabling the organisation to continue expanding its services and support for those affected by cancer.
