GEORGE NEWS - The George Junior City Council invites the community to join them for an important awareness event in support of the campaign against Gender-Based Violence.
The session will take place tomorrow, Thursday 27 November at 16:00 at the George Civic Centre.
Attendees can expect focused, youth-led contributions from Junior City Council members, alongside insights from distinguished guest speakers.
These include Advocate Marilyn Scheepers, founder of Legally You; Valesca Qhawekazi Erlank, Co-director of Legally You; and Miss Unity Dalgamony, who will all address the ongoing impact of GBV and the need for collective action.
The event forms part of the Junior City Council’s commitment to promoting safety, awareness, and active citizenship among young people and the wider community.
All residents are encouraged to attend and stand together in saying: Stop GBV.
