GEORGE NEWS - A boxer from Sohuza Boxing Club in Thembalethu, Imange Thethani, excelled at the Western Cape Provincial Boxing championship last weekend, bringing home a gold medal. The tournament was held at Zolani Centre in Nyanga, Cape Town, last weekend.
Thethani was a member of the Eden Region team that also excelled, achieving second place in the Western Cape.
The chairperson of Eden Boxing Federation, Nkosikho Makhalima, gave special thanks to Knysna ward councillor Phindile Petros for supporting the team with travelling expenses. He also thanked the parents for allowing their children to attend the exciting opportunity
