GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Entries for the ever-popular Carné’s Full Moon Beach Run open on Saturday 1 November.
The event returns for its 13th edition on Saturday 3 January 2026, when the stars, full moon and low tide once again align perfectly for one of the most scenic runs on the Garden Route.
Runners can choose between the 21km route starting at Swartvlei Beach in Sedgefield, or the shorter 7km route from Kleinkrantz Beach, with both finishing at the NSRI office in Wilderness.
Registration will take place at Wilderness Greens.
This iconic night run remains a highlight on the local sporting calendar, drawing athletes and families who enjoy the rare experience of running under a glowing full moon along the Wilderness coastline.
