GEORGE NEWS - A man (45) from Blanco bled to death late last night after he was stabbed in the neck. The incident happened at approximately 22:00 in Crystal Avenue in Golden Valley.
According to George communications officer, Captain Nolonwabu Tshengu, the victim was still alive when police arrived on the scene. The ambulance was contacted but when they arrived the victim had already died.
“A suspect was arrested shortly after the incident. He had a knife, covered in blood, in his possession,” said Tshengu.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in the George Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
