Enjoy a fun-filled fantasy evening for the whole family in George

GEORGE NEWS - Bookings for the fabulous annual Uncle George Parties at Step-Aside Farm in George open tomorrow, Saturday 1 October.

Over 1 500 people attended in 2021 and space is limited, so don’t delay. Make sure you attend this year!

The parties take place from 5 to 21 December between 17:30 and 21:30. Entry is R100 per person.

Parents and kids who attended the parties in 2021 do not need to WhatsApp again, as they will receive an invite on 1 October. Newcomers must WhatsApp or SMS. No bookings and payments will be accepted after 31 October.

What is an Uncle George Party?

It’s a fun evening where families come together in a picnic setting to meet Santa, a fairy and their friends from 17:30 to 21:30 between 5 and 21 December at Step-Aside Farm in George.

How much does it cost?

R100 per adult. R100 per child. Babies under 1 Free.

What do you get for R100?

More than four hours of constant fun that families will never forget - ask the over 1 500 parents who attended last year. Each guest gets an ice cream from Noddy and his friends and each gift-receiving child gets a packet of sweets from the fairy.

What about the presents?

Parents bring their child a present (not bigger than a shoebox) and put it in a black bag. Elves will collect it at the gate when you arrive. Please take cash for a donation for the several good causes that benefit from the proceeds. Also take cash for coffee etc. on sale at the event. No card facilities.

Where is Step-Aside?

Step-Aside is a modest, peaceful and serene accommodation and conference facility just 2km outside George on the road to Oudtshoorn. The entire farm is given free of charge to Uncle George Parties. They also have lovely accommodation (chalets etc.) and wedding venues and conferences etc. Visit their website at www.stepaside.co.za.

What else can you expect?

A magical castle, a magician, a marching band, Noddy and his friends, ice creams, singing carols under the stars, Santa and the fairy.

What about supper?

Parents bring their own supper and supper time will be called.
