GEORGE NEWS - The Western Cape Blood Service (WCBS) has had some encouraging response to its urgent call yesterday for blood donations, but stocks are still very low and it is an emergency.
Especially O+ and O- types are critically low.
The service is calling on the public to please come forward to donate today, Friday 27 August, at their premises at the Medical Centre, Courtenay Street, between 10:00 and 15:00.
