GEORGE NEWS - Entries are now open for the first triathlon event of the 2025/26 season.

Athletes of all ages and experience levels are invited to take part in this exciting start to the triathlon calendar.

Distances include:

• Standard: 1 500m swim, 40km cycle, 10km run (R270 solo or per team, minimum age solo 16/team 14)

• Sprint: 750m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run (R220 solo or per team, minimum age solo 16/team 14)

• Super sprint: 400m swim, 10km cycle, 2.5km run (R170 solo or per team, minimum age 12).

A temporary licence fee applies to non-Triathlon South Africa (TSA) members: R50 for the super sprint and sprint events and R120 for standard events. 

Yearly TSA licences are R350 (senior) and R300 (junior) and can be purchased at member.triathlonsa.co.za.

Late entries will attract a R50 fee and registration opens at 06:15 on race day.
