Update
GEORGE NEWS - The owner of George National Fresh Produce Market was robbed at gunpoint last Thursday afternoon. The robbery took place shortly after 13:00 in Nelson Mandela Boulevard, just before he got into his car on his way to the bank.
Two suspects wearing balaclavas and dressed in security clothes threatened the man with a firearm and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money, after which they fled on foot.
No arrests have been made.
A case of business robbery is being investigated by the George police who were on the scene shortly after the incident.
