GEORGE NEWSFLASH & VIDEO - Another water pipe burst on Saturday 11 November.
Erika Koekemoer and her mother, Joanna Kritzinger, who stay in the Provincial Road Camp in York Street (between the municipal bus depot and the Checkers centre), said she used up all their cellphone airtime over the weekend phoning the municipality.
She had to contact them so that they could come and repair the leak.
Erika said it must have been “tens of thousands of litres” of municipal water that gushed out and ran into the river that flows behind the Road Camp.
