GEORGE NEWS - Pacaltsdorp Police are investigating suspicious circumstances surrounding the disappearance of certain items from the Pacaltsdorp rugby stadium.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Sgt Chris Spies it is alleged that, between 19 and 22 May, various items including garden and other tools were taken from the grounds.
Chairperson of the Pacaltsdorp Community Police Forum (CPF) Charly Daman said it is believed that someone gained access to the inside of the stadium and stole various items.
He said the stadium was also vandalised during the incident.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
