GEORGE NEWS - A multi-vehicle accident occurred earlier this morning, Thursday 28 July, approximately 1.1km from the Pacaltsdorp-George offramp.
Due to the severity of the accident, the N2 has been CLOSED at the Pacaltsdorp offramp, in the travelling direction of Wilderness to Mossel Bay.
Motorists are being diverted into George at the Pacaltsdorp turnoff (York/Beach Road) and can exit George via the R102, Airport road.
Emergency services and traffic officials are on the scene.
Both lanes remain CLOSED in the travelling direction of George to Mossel Bay at the site of the accident and traffic is being diverted at the Airport offramp to access George via the R102.
