GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Four netball teams represented Eden Netball at the Western Cape Netball Championships held in Beaufort West last weekend. The four Eden teams, u.19, u.21, a senior women's team and a men's team, displayed their talent and learned a lot.
Eden Netball chairperson Rene Booysen said it was definitely a great experience for them to play against the best of the province. It was a very competitive tournament and Eden Netball is proud of their performances.
"We will push harder for the following months in shaping and sharpening our teams for the national championships," she said.
"The exciting news is that our u.19 team will compete in the Telkom Junior Netball Championships that will be staged in July in Mpumalanga, while the u.21 team and senior team will be playing in North West Province."
Booysen sincerely thanked Jack's Paint and hardware in Plettenberg Bay, Decolandri Trust in Plettenberg Bay, Outeniqua Plastics in George, and Sharon Prinsloo Lawyers in George for their support. "We are extremely grateful for their contributions towards our players."
