GEORGE NEWS - Serendipity Restaurant in Wilderness was awarded the "World Luxury Restaurant award - South African fine dining" at a gala held in Hanoi, Vietnam.
For owners Lizelle and Rudolf Stolze, 22 July 2017 was a red carpet day which they will always cherish, and they feel extremely honoured and proud to have been chosen as the winners.
The JW Marriott Hotel was a magnificent setting for the gala event. Luxurious restaurants from 81 countries, from New Zealand and Samoa to Russia, Moldova and even Ecuador and Peru competed.
The restaurants were nominated for outstanding service in the luxury restaurant and fine dining industry. Criteria for voting are based on exceptional standards of dining and service. Guests and industry experts vote for their favourite restaurant.
