GEORGE NEWS - The South African National Roads Agency (Sanral) said in a statement yesterday that a section of the N2 in George will be closed tonight, Thursday 29 November.
From 19:00 on Thursday until 06:00 on Friday, the N2 between the Sandkraal and Kraaibosch (Garden Route Mall) interchanges will be closed to facilitate the opening of both the east-bound and west-bound carriageways.
The work will involve the removal of road markings and signs, and was specifically scheduled for night-time, when traffic volumes are lower.
An alternative route is available via the town of George approaching from the east and the west.
