Update

GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The search for the missing man from Conville, Daywin Jonas (26), is still ongoing. Jonas was reported missing by his family last week, Wednesday 26 July.

Jonas is originally from Joubertina and currently lives in Conville.

It is believed that Jonas was in the process of selling his car at the time of his disappearance and was driving to Hoekwil with the man on the day he went missing.

Southern Cape police spokesperson Sgt Chris Spies said preliminary investigation indicates that Jonas left his home in his white VW Citi Golf (CAW 23615) en route to Hoekwil, but never returned. He was dressed in a red and blue tracksuit pants, black top and K-Way cap at the time of his disappearance.

A search is underway and the investigation officer, WO Ralton Mafutu, urges the public to come forward with any information that could ensure Jonas' safe return.
