GEORGE NEWS - The public is advised that refuse collection resumed on Friday 19 June.
The refuse trucks will be working late every day this week to accommodate the three week backlog.
Residents must please be patient and note that if TODAY is your collection day, your black bags will be collected.
The municipality has appointed a temporary contractor for this week to assist with the collection of the backlog of black bags.
Collection of green and blue bags continue as per usual, on the same days as per black bags collection schedule.
