GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - Valentine's Day is all about spreading the love, and our beautiful country and its people can do with a lot of that at the moment.
Group Editors paid a visit to the flower stall of the legendary "flower lady', Suraya Cassiem, early this morning.
Suraya's stall on the corner of CJ Langenhoven Road and York Street is an institution in George and she usually sells out on special days like Valentine's and Mother's Day.
The flowers are her only source of income and her colourful stall was in full swing on Wednesday morning, surely landing every man in their significant other's good books.

In the meantime, South African comedian and performer Jamie Barthus has posted the most classic South African Valentine’s Day video – a brilliant parody of Miley Cyrus’ phenomenal hit ‘Flowers’.
But instead of flowers it's candles...because that's what South Africa needs most right now.
The parody makes fun of Eskom and load shedding, like most of the SA Valentine memes today.

Group Editors' digital department also got into the Valentine's vibe and decided to dress up and make a day of it. Here Ilse Schoonraad, Udi Obi, Dot Symons, Cameron Squire and Beatrice Esterhuysen enjoying a moment with Sharlee Moriarty (front). Photo: Lizette da Silva
