GEORGE NEWS - Internal water samples have indicated high levels of E.Coli at the Gwaiing River beach mouth. The beach is closed for swimming.
George Municipality is investigating the cause of the sludge. On preliminary investigation no link to the Municipal infrastructure could be found.
All of the municipal sewer pump stations have been checked.
The investigation continues.
