GEORGE NEWS & VIDEOS - More than 100 people gathered on Friday 16 December at the Garden Route Dam to pray for rain.
Pastor Ockie Taylor gave an introductory message and said a short prayer before attendees formed small groups to pray together.
Taylor quoted 2 Chronicles 7 verse 14 that says, "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
Taylor said God is a God who hears. "We believe that when this dam fills up, everyone will know that God has heard."
