GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Expansion projects in the Eden and Central Karoo District, recent, current and future, are as follows:
Future new schools being planned (dependent on budget availability, which is currently being determined):
- Murray Junior High School - Plettenberg Bay/Kwanokuthula
- Mossel Bay Technical High School - Mossel Bay (budget permitting)

- Concordia High School – new school - Knysna 2016/17

- Laerskool Hartenbos – 7 classrooms – Mossel Bay
- Voorwaarts Primary School - 4 classrooms – Riversdale
- Tabatha Primary School – 6 classrooms – George
- Hibernia Primary School – 2 classrooms – George
- Colridge Primary School – 2 classrooms – Oudtshoorn
- Dysseldorp Primary School – 1 classroom – Oudtshoorn
- Hillcrest High School – 1 classroom – Mossel Bay
- Lategansvlei SSKV Primary School – 3 classrooms – Oudtshoorn
- Mzoxolo Primary School – 2 classrooms – George
- Sao Bra High School – 6 classrooms – Mossel Bay
- Scheeperskraal SSKV Primary School – 2 classrooms - Oudtshoorn
*A replacement school is a school that is being replaced regarding infrastructure and as a result of it being built with inappropriate materials. It is an existing school that is upgraded with new buildings.
