GEORGE NEWS - The EFF Southern Cape has reached out to primary and high schools in the area where there is a need.
Hein Scheepers, the spokesperson, says they reached out to get the names, ages and sizes of learners who really need school shoes.
They donated a minimum of four pairs of shoes per ward, and in some wards up to eight.
“We did request names of underprivileged youth four weeks ago and based on names given, we distributed to kids in primary school and high school,” he says.
According to Scheepers they wish to have more resources to help more underprivileged learners. “We are doing the best with the funds we have received for this programme.”
